Peanut walking

While we were at my parents' house today, Peanut was having so much fun practicing his walking.  He's getting a little more brave these days. 

This video is so funny - he gets really excited & happy and just SCREAMS when he's walking back to me!  We were laughing so hard.

Moving Forward

So, Peanut has finally started to move forward when he's on his tummy.....sort of crawling - a huge milestone for him.  Sometimes when he does it he uses his arms more than anything, but when he's on the carpet it seems like he pushes a lot more with his feet too, and gets his little bum up in the air more, like he's trying to get on his knees.  This video was taken about 3 minutes before I put him down for his nap, and he wanted me to pick him up.  It's so good to see him get around like this.  Yay for Peanut!

Well, Ladybug wouldn't sing these songs at school or at the Christmas program, but she sings them all the time at home.  I had to get it on video!

Sometimes hubby and I put little toys on top of Peanut's head just to be silly.  He smiles and shakes his head so it'll fall off.  So lately we've noticed he seems to be trying to put things on his head.  Before I grabbed the camera to record him today he had a ball, and he tried so many times to get it to stay on his head!

This is just plain funny!! I just brought lunch to the table, and Ladybug was eating like a champ. We looked across the table and had to laugh. I decided to have fun with it and grabbed the camera. And yes, SnugBug ate her entire lunch, even drank milk, and she was fine.......

Ok, first of all I have to say that when I was watching some of the videos I've taken of the kids I realized that not everyone will appreciate them as much as us....meaning some of them aren't so exciting. But when you're the mommy & daddy it's different - we think the smallest things are just so funny, or so cute. One thing is for sure; it will be really fun to check out this blog a couple years from now! Here's Ladybug jumping around / dancing. She does this a lot so I finally caught some of it on video. Another thing she does is walk around on her tip-toes all day.

Getting Started

I had the idea of setting up a video blog a couple days ago and I'm just getting started.  It takes some time to upload videos onto Blogger, but eventually I want to take the videos from our other blog Tales From The Crib.....Diaper Duty And Beyond!! and put them on here.  And of course add new ones as time goes by....
